Commissioner Form of Government

The City of Chamberlain uses the Commission form of government with a Mayor and four City Commissioners. The City Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 7:00pm.

Doug Nelson, Mayor

Also serves on the Tri-County Landfill Board

Doug has served as Mayor of Chamberlain since 1993.

City Commissioners

Chad Mutziger: Finance, Airport, Swimming Pool, Summer Recreation, serves as Chairman in the Mayors absence.

Clint Soulek: Water and Wastewater and serves on the Chamberlain Country Club Board

Tim Thomas: Public Safety

Larry Jurgensen: Streets and serves on the Missouri Valley Ambulance Board
